The Executor was created by the
company's President, Annette Van Houten, and Executive Vice
President, Terri Swartz to serve the public. "We recognize
the need for assistance in the community especially during traumatic
periods. We feel that our most beneficial contribution to the
community would be as liaisons between the general public, attorneys
and Courts- a coordination of activities connecting the parts
of a whole." Thus the founding of The Executor.
Annette Van Houten and Terri Swartz
are the owners of The Executor, Inc., which was incorporated
in 2005. These women, who have approximately twenty-five years
legal experience and ten years banking experience, have seen
a need for a service that is needed in our community, as well
as one that will help people. Having a family member serve as
an executor can cause controversy. Annette and Terri have seen
a lot of families torn apart because of small differences when
one of them is appointed as Executor.
Annette and Terri feel there are several benefits
to having a neutral party serve as Executor. When you lose a
loved one, emotions are high, and you may come across areas
that need professional experience. Annette and Terri already
have that experience and can take care of everything. Both women
have a firm belief in, and feel that, Estate Planning can often
save a lot of trouble for loved ones.
